Performing

I have over ten years’ experience playing everything from orchestral music and big band jazz on the double bass, to soul, funk and even heavy metal on the electric bass.

Recording

I have played on several commercial recordings and I am able to sight read notated parts, create parts from chord charts or even reinterpret ‘draft’ ideas.

About Peter Morris

BA (Hons), PGCE Cert.Ed, LCM/RGT (Bass Diploma)

Peter Morris is a professional musician and teacher born and raised in Durham. Peter has over ten years’ experience as a professional musician playing in venues across the UK and in Europe. During this time, he has recorded commercial albums, played music festivals and is working as a member of the orchestra in musicals such as Oliver, West Side Story, Grease, High Society and Phantom of the Opera.
